HI GUYS! TODAY I WILL BE SHARING A FEW TIPS AND TRICKS ON HOW TO BE CYBER SAFE! HERE THEY ARE:

1. Never give away your last name to anyone you don’t know or someone your not familiar with.

2. Never give away your password to anyone.

3. Never give away your phone number or anyone else’s phone number to strangers.

4. Never give your address or anyone else’s address to unfamiliar people.

5.Never start a conversation with people you don’t know.

6. When someone asks you your address just stop the conversation or ask an adult to block them for you.

7. Never put pictures of yourself online.

8. Never put pictures of others with out there permission.

9. Try not to do anything bad on the Internet because it will create a bad digital footprint and in the future, when you try to get a job, the interviewer can look at your history and not get you the job because of your bad history on the Internet.

10. Try not to visit websites that your doubtful of because your divise may get haked or get a virus!

Are you guys on your school holidays?? Well I hope your having fun! Because all the kids in Australia are on their holidays having fun!!

Before school closed we had footy day. On footy day we all got free lunch including an icy pole and a suprise!!

I hope all of you are having fun and I hope all of you guys stay safe as well!!

Friday 5th of September was the whole school fathers day celebration and the whole school stall.

Our class stall theme was chocolate and we made a whole lot of chocolate stuff!

They were:

1- Chocolate balls

2- Chocolate slice

3- Hot chocolate

4- Chocolate biscuits

On the 29th of August was our school concert. Every class performed an item with the theme of colours because the name of the concert was ‘Colour My World’.

My class performed to ‘Blue Da Ba De’ by Eiffel 65.

I also took part in the Indian dancing, we danced to ‘Rang De Basanti’

In class today we were asked to complete the 100 word challenge.As a class we came up with a few prompts. They were:

1. That’s what happens when/ in…

2. What if??

3.This is how it happened…

4. The troll under the bridge…

I chose prompt number 1 and this is what the end product looks like:

I was walking down the old village. Suddenly, I saw a humongous palm tree, it was so beautiful but when I looked up, I saw a man with a cloth on his head. He looked down at me and put his arm out like he wanted me to climb the tree. I shook my head, no way I thought, it was impossible, too high. Then the man came sliding down, it started to sound like a razor, ewww!! His skin had gone all yucky and peely. I knew this thing was not meant for me and so I ran.

In class today we were asked to make an array out of counters. This is what mine looked like:

I had 48 counters in total and arranged it 6 by 8 just like so.

Literature Circles are when you and and a few other students read a text or a story. After you can reflect and respond to what you read.

Here are a few ways you can respond:

1. Connect stories to our own lives

2. Draw picture of our favourite part

3. Giving feedback by agrreeing and dissagreeing with the authors and characters

4. What if……

5. Make predictions

Today after reading a chapter of Alice Miranda I responded to the text by making a prediction.

In our class we had been asked to write a recount of our holiday.

I wrote a recount on going to the movies!!

Here is the recount:

Everything was organised and everyone was ready to go to Fountain Gate and watch How To Train Your Dragon 2. It was time to go and everyone was in the car. It was a very cold Sunday morning.Christy,Aaron, Noah and I were on our our way to Fountain Gate.

We got to the parking area and we parked near the food court. We all got to the line of the movies and there was like 10,000 people there in the line. It was too busy and so squishy like we were stuffed into a mini cage and we all had to wait for hours. Finally, we were all atleast in the 2nd row of the line and so we started to watch trailers outside the movies. We saw the trailor for how to train your dragon 2 and we all closed our eyes not to give it away but I still watched it.

After we had the tickets and we went to Coles to get some lollies and chocolates. I got a packet of nerds and mars pods for all of us to share. It was too yummy I just could not stop staring at it.

Anyway, we got to the movies and the movie started. It was about half through the movie when I started to feel sad because Hiccups dad dies because of Toothless. The movie finished and I could not get up because my legs were soooooooo numb.

We came out of the movies and I heard a huge rumble, guess what it was? LUNCH TIME!! We went to the food court and we thought of going to KFC. It smelt so nice and I could not stop thinking about it. It was a long queue and so we started joking around. We made up an acronym for KFC: Kids Fatening Centre. We all started laughing. We finally got the food. I bought popcorn chicken because I was NOT hungry, my brother and Aaron got a Zinger Box and two Zinger burgers. After we got our seats Aaron dropped all his nerds. He was so embarresed.

It was a really cool day and I felt stuffed. We got home and then we remembered that Agnes and Joseph were there. My brother hid the nerds under his T shirt upside down and everything fell. It was the best day of my life!!

During the writing sessions we had, I had learnt that everything takes alot of patience in writing like with the typing part, the editing part and most importantly the writing part.
